Update 9.4.10
In August of 2009, God opened the doors for us to go to Canada to live, and although we went for family reasons, we met many fine Christian brothers and sisters, saw many of God's miracles of healing and deliverance and were blest to meet First Nation Elders who taught us about their history and their customs.
Shortly after we arrived in Red Deer Alberta, God opened doors for ministry at a Soup Kitchen for the homeless, run by the Potter's Hands Church.
A Christian brother graciously stepped aside and allowed me to minister in word and in song on Saturday mornings, may God bless him.
I met many fine people and cannot speak highly enough of the love and respect that they received me with.
During the 10 months that I ministered at the Soup Kitchen we saw many of God's miracles including salvations, healings & deliverances.
Two weeks before we left Canada, I was playing my guitar and singing my songs and was being heckled by one of the guests of the kitchen who was drunk, and this was about 9.00am in the morning. I finished playing a couple of hours later and walked to the door to meet some friends and I noticed the guest that was heckling me was staggering toward us heading for the door. I stepped toward him and introduced myself and he said that his name was Kenneth. I asked if we could pray for him and he said yes. We all layed hands on him, prayed for him, led him through a prayer of re-dedication and when he stood up, he was stone cold sober, truly a miracle from God. We found out that he had been an alcoholic for 30years and to this day, 9 months later he is still sober, thanks to the miracle working power of our Lord.
Update 22.7.10
Last Sunday the 18th of July, I had the pleasure and the privilege of ministering at the Grace Assembly Church in Seaton Adelaide, pastored by Pastor Roy Abraham. Pastor Abraham is from India and pastors a congregation of about 60 people. His church was established in about October 2009 and his vision is to build a multi cultural church through reaching the lost. It was a Holy Spirit filled meeting and many lives were touched by the Holy Spirit. I was especially impressed by the Holy reverence for God among the congregation, the likes of which I have never experienced before. It may have something to do with the fact that the majority of the congregation are from India and maybe it stems from their culture, but whatever it is, it was good, it was right and it was encouraging. It made you feel that someone special was in the house, and He truly was. May God bless Pastor Abraham and his congregation and their vision. It was a truly enjoyable & humbling experience and my wife Theresa and I thank them for their invitation, their love and their hospitality.
Update 6.8.10
A Christian brother has arranged for Dr Roger Sapp of Dallas Texas to come to Adelaide South Australia from the 10th to the 19th of Sept, to teach about and minister healing. Roger Sapp's travelling ministry focuses upon equipping believers and mentoring leaders to do Christ-like healing and miracle ministry. I am organising his bookings for him and to date I have only one day booked of the 9 available days that he will be here. At this stage I am praying and trusting God to fill Roger's itinerary during his stay here.
